Looking for something to do this summer? We have a huge variety of summer camps for 2012! Beat the heat and get creative at PLaY! Music and Art. We have camps for all ages and interests for both music and art related activities. Click on the camp name for more info and registration.
Flexibility!
This year we are teaming up with Steve Odom’s Martial Arts to offer full day camps. They will provide (optional) morning camps from 9:00am - 12:00pm then transfer the campers to us for art camp from 12:00pm - 3:00pm. They will also offer before and after care for the hours of 8:00am - 9:00am and 3:00pm - 4:00pm.

This is our featured summer camp for 2012. In 2011, the Joined Forces camp wrote, recorded, and produced a song that was published on a CD to share with friends and family. This year, we are taking it one step further and producing a music video that will be published on YouTube. The campers will compose an original song, record it, storyboard the video, shoot, edit, and star in the video, and then publish it for the world to see! This is definitely going to be the most talked about summer camp of the year! Space is very limited, REGISTER NOW!
Draw your own Comics and Manga with professional comic artist Shawn McCauley (Zenescope’s Grimm’s Fairy Tales, Discovery Channel’s 10 Deadliest Sharks, Monster Hunter’s Survival Guide). Learn the fundamentals of comic book story telling, as well as the techniques and tools the pros use to bring these stories to life! From sketch, to pencils, to inks, you’ll have your own finished comic book page by the end of this one week camp!
Each day features a legend, related craft and Native American skill including fire making, moccasin making, weaving and native GA plant identification. Take home a unique craft each day while learning about the Native American culture.
A variety of arts and crafts projects. Each day will be a different art or craft. Each week will also include one canvas painting day. The camp runs from 12:00pm to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday.
Campers will choose a painting to copy and our instructor will guide them through their completed masterpiece!
This music camp will encompass all aspect of music at a beginner and intermediate level. Learn the basics of rhythm, melody, and age appropriate music theory. Explore various instruments, learn how to play as a group, and participate in various forms of movement and music. This is the perfect camp for those who are looking to explore and expand in the world of music.
